The Annual Golf Classic was instituted to establish a health and fitness center at Arlington High School for the benefit and use by the students and staff of Arlington High School.

The tournament is held on the date of the June meeting and is followed by the dinner meeting in Arlington. Tom Yewcic is the chairman of the event and master of ceremonies presenting the winners with their just rewards.
